I was lucky to have such an awesome assistant during a recent cover shoot for Curious Parents magazine. Despite freezing cold temperatures, “E” was right there to hold back branches, carry wardrobe, and catch anything I threw his way.  This Christmas tree farmed turned construction site (ugh - more development) proved to be super cool for some shots.  Thanks “E” for being a trooper.  

Can’t show you images from the cover shoot.  You’ll have to pick up a copy of Curious Parents - December 2008 when it’s available.

Why all the Y’s?  4 BOYS!  My luck continues as I have yet another group of cooperative children who have winning smiles and manners that would make any mother proud!  Here is a sneak peek from a holiday family session.  Just a few because we can’t give away the “Christmas card shot” on the blog. Friends and family will have to wait for that one in their mailboxes.  Fa la la la la la la la la!

These sweet sisters were warm and cozy in my studio while the rain poured outside.  The rain has really put a damper on the holiday outdoor schedule this fall.  ”Aa” is for Angelina and Alexis who were simply “A”dorable.  Ta da!  The “sneak peek!”

The stores were decorated before Halloween - ugh!  Reality will hit us all that the holiday shopping season is soon to be in full swing.  Be prepared this year.  Make a list and stick to it.  Shop early and online or support your local community retailer.  Don’t wait until the last minute to wrap (like I do!)
