So what do you really want to know when you read one of these photographer bios?

Probably not all that mushy stuff about how I love what I do, or that I'm totally passionate about photographing children in the hopes that the images will last and be enjoyed for generations. Maybe you want to know that I'm a Canon girl. My motto: It's all about the glass. I love the sharp gorgeous images that result with an experienced operator (me) and a top-of-the-line professional lens (Canon glass.)

Since most people (like 90% of all consumers), when comparing apples to apples, select their photographer based on personality, maybe you just want to know more about me.

I love my husband, my kids and my dog (not necessarily in that order - it depends on the day.) I grew up in Connecticut and am still loyal to my home state to a fault. Poor New Jersey. 16 years later and I still say I'm from CT, but with shows like Jersey Shore and Housewives of NJ, you understand.

I love to laugh and like even more to make others laugh. We don't laugh enough these days.

At the moment, I'm obsessed with: Anthropologie, the color green, Animo Juice Cafe, interior design magazines, my iPhone (oh, that should be first,) Twitter, Facebook, snuggling on the couch with my family watching NCIS or Covert Affairs, lazy mornings, seltzer water, avocados, limes, cilantro - in any combination, especially guacamole. I yearn to travel more, shoot more for fun, and play more tennis. I have to admit that I like SportsCenter and usually can hold an intelligent conversation about baseball, football, hockey (and basketball, but only during the playoffs)

I love babies, kids, children and teenagers (yes, I even like this bizarre group of pseudo adults) - and they usually love me. Perhaps, that's because I don't really feel like growing up quite yet, and I don't know what I'm going to do when I do grow up. Learning should be a lifetime sport and one in which I wholeheartedly participate.

My teenager teases me to no end, like all good teenagers can do to their mothers, about my tagline: What makes you smile? Perhaps I'll make a t-shirt for him with it emblazoned across the chest...hmm? But, really, I do love to ask that question when I photograph a child or a family. I think that the moments that make us truly smile are the ones that should be captured.

Enough about me. I want to know all about you.
